Sumo wrestling is the national sport in Japan.  Learn about the cultural significance of sumo while savoring a traditional Chankonabe (“sumo stew”) dinner and watching the exciting conclusion to the Grand Sumo Tournament at Azasu, NYC’s premier sumo-themed izakaya. The Berkeley-Haas Alumni Network-NYC is inviting alumni, members of the Berkeley community, and friends to join us for dinner and a glimpse into Japanese culture.
